We aim to challenge you and your nerve in a safe environment, and to leave you with unforgettable memories. This is a great opportunity to climb and learn from experienced and professional multi-pitch guides, giving you a taste for adventure and a great day out!

Your qualified guide will brief you on the day's activities and the days' climb ie Ruby of India and train you on all safety matters prior to leaving the ground.This includes lead belaying, seconding leads, taking out gear and more.

After arriving, we head up the mountain. The one hour walk in to the climbing starting point is strenuos and not for the feint hearted! At the top of the climb there will be plenty of time to take in the amazing views and get a few pics.

The descent takes approximately 30 minutes to walk back to the packs at the bottom of the climb. The rest of the walk out will take approx 45 minutes to the car (all down hill).

  • We meet you at Mt Maroon - approximately 1.5  hours SW from Brisbane.  Park in the Mt Maroon National Park section off Cotswold Road which turns South of Boonah-Rathdowney Road 2.7km East of Maroon township.
  • Meeting time 06:30am.
FITNESS AND EXPERIENCE
  • An average level of fitness is required
  • Anyone with a sense of adventure and a love of the outdoors is bound to enjoy this challenge
  • This adventure is suited to people with some climbing experience. Please advise us of your abilities at the time of booking
PARTICIPANT GUIDELINES
  • All participants must complete a waiver
  • Minimum participant age is 15 years old (participants 15-18 years old must be accompanied by an adult)
  • Participants 18 years and under require a waiver to be signed by their parent or legal guardian.
WHAT TO BRING/WEAR
  • Non-restrictive clothing that suits the weather on the day
  • Footwear should be enclosed, runners or hiking boots for walk in
  • Backpack,water (at least 2-3L), electrolytes, sunscreen, hat, camera, light jacket
  • Lunch and snacks to keep you powered up for the day (an energy drink with electrolytes is not bad idea either).
  • If you have some climbing gear, bring it along (use is subject to inspection by the instructor)

  • All safety equipment including helmets
  • Climbing shoes are provided (please provide shoe size at time of booking)
